At X-Lok we are customer centric.
We understand the apparent dissatisfaction with the way things are done that have simply evolved collectively over time, leading to build complexity, inefficiency and an expanded supply chain.
Analysis of the process steps identified the problems and weaknesses related to waste, manufacturing complexity, logistical challenges, delays in qualification and products into service, operator injury, line-fit issues and problems with maintenance and repair.
Because EMC cable protection can be vital, we evaluated how this was achieved with backshells and with the way hand-made transitions were built. If repair is necessary, ease of access to cable bundles is important, and could be urgent, so permanently fastened parts, together with the complexity of grafting different systems together, the process of transition building itself and the destruction of compilation parts in the event of disassembly are all an impediment.
We believe that open sleeve technology is the key to answering many of the issues, but no matching hardware existed, so we set about creating a system that resolves ALL the mechanical and operational issues, deskilling assembly and installation and eliminating all extraneous build components.
Crucially, X-Lok resolves all the ‘customer focus’ issues.
